Terms of Service

The agreement you accept when you use TubeRefinery.

Last updated: October 5, 2026

1. Agreement#

These Legal Terms are a binding agreement between you and Avatarnity LLC, doing business as TubeRefinery ("we", "us"), a company registered in Wyoming, United States, at 9030 35th Ave SW Ste 100, Seattle, WA 98126, United States. They govern your use of tuberefinery.com and the report-generation service it provides (the "Services").

By using the Services you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms, and that you are at least 18 years old. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

We may revise these terms; the updated version is effective when posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Contact: support@tuberefinery.com.

2. The Services#

TubeRefinery turns publicly available YouTube content into research reports: you submit links, we list and price the corpus, and generate a citation-backed PDF report.

  • Free tier. One free report per day per user, for a single video up to 15 minutes. Delivered best-effort, with no guarantee of availability, speed, or uninterrupted operation.
  • Paid tier. Larger corpora are priced by total video hours as quoted before you order. Paid orders are one-time purchases processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, your purchase contract for payment processing is with them, and card data is handled by them. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
  • Usage limits (such as the daily free cap) are enforced via an anonymous identity. Circumventing them, by resetting identities, automation, or any other means, is a breach of these terms.

The Services are not designed to comply with industry-specific regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA); do not use them where such compliance is required.

3. Reports, creator content, and your rights#

  • Your report. When we generate a report for you, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to keep and use the PDF for personal or internal business purposes. You may not resell reports or offer report generation as a competing service.
  • Creator content. The underlying videos, transcripts, and metadata belong to their creators and are used under analysis: reports summarize, document, and cite, linking points to the source video and timestamp, rather than republishing creator content. TubeRefinery is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
  • Accuracy. Reports are generated and cross-checked by AI. Despite verification, they may contain errors or omissions. Citations exist precisely so you can check points against the source, do so before relying on any point. See also the Disclaimer.

4. Our intellectual property#

The Services, including the site, software, designs, text, and the TubeRefinery name and marks, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for their intended purpose. Any feedback or suggestions you send us may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

5. Prohibited activities#

You agree not to:

  • systematically scrape, harvest, or compile data from the Services;
  • circumvent usage limits, pricing, or security features;
  • use bots or automation to access the Services, or burden them with disproportionate load;
  • submit unlawful content or use reports for an unlawful purpose;
  • copy, adapt, reverse engineer, or decompile the Services' software;
  • frame, mirror, or deep-link the Services without written permission;
  • upload or transmit malicious code or interfering material;
  • impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with us;
  • harass, abuse, or harm our staff or other users;
  • use the Services or their output to build or train a competing service.

Reports and the site contain links to third-party content (notably YouTube videos). We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third-party content or services. Your dealings with third parties, including YouTube and any linked platform, are solely between you and them.

7. Privacy#

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms. The Services are hosted in the United States; using them from elsewhere means your data is processed in the US.

If you believe content available through the Services infringes your copyright, notify us at support@tuberefinery.com with enough detail to locate and assess the material. Knowingly misrepresenting infringement may expose you to liability for damages.

9. Suspension and termination#

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services, including blocking identities or IP addresses, at our discretion, with or without notice, for breach of these terms or to protect the Services and their users. Sections that by their nature survive termination (including licenses to delivered reports, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms) survive.

10. Changes and interruptions#

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice. We do not guarantee the Services will always be available and accept no liability for downtime. We may correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including pricing, at any time.

11. Governing law#

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

12. Dispute resolution#

  • Talk to us first. Before formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution for at least thirty (30) days after written notice (email support@tuberefinery.com).
  • Arbitration. Unresolved disputes will be finally settled by binding arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (and its Consumer Rules where applicable), seated in Wyoming, United States. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial. If a dispute is found non-arbitrable, it will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming, and both parties consent to that venue.
  • No class actions. Disputes are resolved individually; neither party may join claims with others or proceed on a class or representative basis.
  • Time limit. Claims must be brought within one (1) year of the cause of action arising, to the extent permitted by law.
  • Exceptions. Either party may seek injunctive relief, and disputes about intellectual property or unauthorized use of the Services may be brought in court.

13. Disclaimer of warranties#

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT REPORTS WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR SECURE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. See the Disclaimer for content-specific disclaimers.

14. Limitation of liability#

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE LESSER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS BEFORE THE CAUSE OF ACTION AROSE OR US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where law requires, these limits apply to the maximum extent permitted.

15. Indemnification#

You agree to defend and indemnify Avatarnity LLC and its officers, employees, and agents against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your use of the Services, or your violation of third-party rights.

16. Your data#

We keep operational backups, but you are responsible for retaining your delivered reports. Download links may expire; keep your PDF.

17. Electronic communications#

You consent to receive communications from us electronically and agree that electronic agreements, notices, and records satisfy any legal requirement for a writing or signature.

18. California users#

If a complaint with us is not satisfactorily resolved, California residents can contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210 or (916) 445-1254.

19. Miscellaneous#

These terms, together with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may assign our rights; you may not without our consent. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Nothing here creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship.
