This policy explains what TubeRefinery (operated by Avatarnity LLC) stores in your browser and why. It is unusually short, because the honest answer is: we don't use tracking cookies.
No tracking, by design#
TubeRefinery uses no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no Google Analytics, and no cross-site identifiers. Our analytics are Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless measurement that counts page views, referrers, and country-level origin in aggregate. It stores nothing on your device and does not identify you.
Because there are no optional cookies, there is no cookie consent banner — there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes (for example, if we add marketing analytics), we will add a consent manager before any such cookie is set and update this page.
What we do store#
A small number of strictly functional items, stored in your browser's local storage (not sent to advertisers, not used to track you across sites):
| Item | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous session | Your anonymous user identity — enforces the one-free-report-per-day limit and lets your order survive a page refresh | Until cleared |
| Active job reference | Reconnects you to a report that is still generating if you reload the page | Until the job completes |
| Theme preference | Remembers your dark/light choice | Until cleared |
Infrastructure cookies#
Our host, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies of its own
(for example _cfuvid for rate limiting, or a challenge cookie when
protecting the site from bots). These are security/operations cookies,
set by the infrastructure, not used by us to identify or profile you.
Your controls#
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser's site-data settings; the site keeps working (you may lose an in-progress job reference or your theme choice). Since we set no tracking cookies, there is nothing further to opt out of — "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals are, in effect, already honored.
Changes and contact#
If our use of cookies or storage changes, this page and its date will change with it. Questions: support@tuberefinery.com.
