TubeRefinery ("TubeRefinery", "we", "us") is operated by Avatarnity LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, United States, with offices at 9030 35th Ave SW Ste 100, Seattle, WA 98126, United States. This notice explains what we collect when you use tuberefinery.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

The summary#
- You can use the free tier without creating an account, no name, no password, no sign-up.
- The only personal information you can give us is an email address, and it is optional, used solely to deliver your report or to join the Build Refinery waitlist.
- We use no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, and no Google Analytics. Our analytics are cookieless and aggregate.
- We never sell or share your personal information. We have no advertising relationships.
- Payment card data, when the paid tier is live, is handled by our payment provider, it never touches our servers.
What we collect#
Information you give us#
- Email address (optional). If you type an email when ordering a free report, we use it to send you the download link. If you join the Build Refinery waitlist, we use it to tell you when it opens. That is the full list of uses.
- YouTube links you submit. The video, playlist, or channel URLs you paste are processed to list, price, and generate your report.
Information collected automatically#
- An anonymous identity. When you order a report, our systems create an anonymous user ID (no name, no password, no profile). It exists to enforce the one-free-report-per-day limit and to connect you to your job if you refresh the page. It is stored in your browser's local storage.
- IP address, transiently. Our infrastructure (Cloudflare, Supabase) sees your IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention, as every website's infrastructure does. We do not store it as part of your record.
- Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it tells us page views, referrers, and country-level origin in aggregate, without storing an identifier about you. There is no cross-site tracking and nothing to opt out of.
- Operational logs. Standard request logs (status codes, timing) used to keep the service working.
What we deliberately do not collect#
No names, no passwords, no payment card numbers, no precise location, no contacts, no biometric or sensitive personal information of any kind. If the paid tier is live, payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, your card data goes to them, not us.
YouTube and creator content#
Reports are generated from publicly available YouTube transcripts and metadata for the videos you choose. That content belongs to its creators. We cache it temporarily for processing, our reports analyze and cite it, linking points back to the exact video and timestamp, and we do not republish creator content verbatim. Reports are our analysis, not a re-hosting of anyone's work.
AI processing#
Generating and verifying a report involves sending the video transcript content to third-party AI model providers for processing. The content processed this way is the public video material, not your email or identity. If you would like to know the current model providers, ask us at support@tuberefinery.com.

Each processes data only to provide the service described. We do not sell or share personal information with anyone for advertising.
Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)#
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies: we process the data above to perform a contract (generate and deliver the report you asked for), on the basis of legitimate interests (keeping the service secure, enforcing fair usage limits), and with your consent (the optional email, which you can withdraw by asking us to delete it).
Retention#
Job records and the email tied to a delivery are kept as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. Generated report files are stored so your download link works, and may be removed thereafter. Waitlist emails are kept until the waitlist opens or you ask to be removed. To have your email or records deleted, write to support@tuberefinery.com, deleting is straightforward because there is so little to delete.
Where data lives#
Our servers and providers are located in the United States. If you use TubeRefinery from elsewhere, your information is processed in the US.
Your rights#
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing support@tuberefinery.com. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are a resident of California or another US state with a consumer privacy law: we collect only identifiers (optional email, transient IP) and internet activity (usage logs); we do not sell or share personal information, and we honor requests to know and delete via the same address.
A note on "Do Not Track" and the Global Privacy Control: we do not track you in the first place, so there is nothing for these signals to turn off.
Automated decisions#
The one-report-per-day limit is enforced automatically. We make no automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Children#
TubeRefinery is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact support@tuberefinery.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice#
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
